Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how FlaxMind (“we”) collects, uses, and protects information when you visit flaxmind.com, use the FlaxMind desktop app, or contact us.

We are local-first: your mind maps, node text, notes, images, and attachments stay on your device by default and are not read by us.

What we collect

• Site visits: we do not embed tracking, analytics, or third-party advertising scripts on flaxmind.com. IP and User-Agent recorded by our infrastructure (Cloudflare) are used only for security and access metrics, not associated with identity.
• Desktop app: no telemetry, no document uploads, no account required.
• Feedback and contact forms: we only receive the fields you submit (email, message, category) in order to reply.

How we use it

We use information you provide only to: reply to you, improve the product, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties.

Where your data lives

All FlaxMind desktop app files are stored on your device in a directory you choose. Form submissions are routed over encrypted channels to our EU-hosted mail infrastructure and retained for no longer than 12 months.
